Lenovo is a Chinese technology company founded on 1 November 1984 and associated with Founder Liu Chuanzhi.1 It designs and sells personal computers, servers, and related electronics.1 The Hong Kong–incorporated group bought IBM's personal-computer division in 2005 and later acquired Motorola Mobility's handset business and IBM's x86 server unit.
History
Liu Chuanzhi and colleagues founded Legend in Beijing on 1 November 1984. The company rebranded as Lenovo and listed in Hong Kong; it is now one of the world's largest PC vendors.1
